If there isn’t any “plan” in place to right size everything, then I say start looking (again).
My biggest pet peeve is when leadership starts making big changes and there isn’t a goal at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks! I have been looking. I’m a little worried about trying to explain 4 months in a job and already looking for a new one in an interview 🙃
Additional info: when hired, my first direct line boss was a different manager under the GM. GM received their yearly business review a month ago and I was told it was not positive. GM has been making very quick, very major changes. One of these changes being moving the ops mgr (my old boss) to the other half of the business and splitting the business into two operations. I now report directly to GM with no direct reports. I have not been given clear direction on what my “new” job responsibilities are (i have asked multiple times) and I spend most of my days doing menial tasks the GM and promoted employee don’t want to handle. I feel super under-utilized and like my skill set is being wasted.
No advice, but I went through something similar. Still trying to sort it out. Still sux.
I can get you to work @binance if you want to
