Students are getting laptops in class at a very young age. It's ruining them, no textbooks, just laptops. They're constantly hiding things in other tabs, playing music loudly, and just doing everything but their assigned work. It's crazy to me that schools do this. I'm not sure how they're learning anything. We need to bring back textbooks and computer labs. How do you even handle this as full time teachers?

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.
