All of those places would be scorching hot.

London and Paris would be fun then.

Currently on an Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen trip solo but it’s been pretty sleepy so far. So not sure I’d recommend Scandinavia.

I loved Norway! But we wild camped the whole time, I wouldn't spend time in the cities personally

It depends on your interests.

Philippines

Iran, Afghanistan, Venezuela, North Korea. Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Myanmar, Russia, Haiti, Belarus, Iraq, Syria. Anywhere you like!

I worked with a guy whose brother begged him to go to NK with him. Took him more than a year to get a clearance.

South of France

If I only have one week, and I don't have a destination I am dying to visit, I would only consider places that are not over 5 hours away from me and ideally only direct flights, too. Then, I look into the weather of the remaining destinations and take my pick! Where are you based?

That is purely my preference. I like to maximise my time and I feel like a whole day of travel is wasting time. That's why I am asking where the person is based and whether they have a particular preference.

What is your budget?
Do you like city, adventurous, or sporty activities?
Where do you live (country and state/province if large like Canada, USA or Australia?

All of the above directly impact where you could go for a fulfilling vacation for 1 week.

Live in NYC. Don’t want to go somewhere I’ve been before, would like at least part of the trip to be active. Otherwise super open

Try Uganda,the pearl of Africa

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
