Taxation and over-regulation are huge problems in California. Is the experience similar in other recreational states?

The taxes and regs drive up prices to such a degree that black market weed is still more desirable for lots of customers. Not as much selection, of course, but it’s a problem. State is also failing to meet revenue expectations because of it.

Oregon has alot of regulation issues. Sometimes OLCC seems willing to listen but they are massively behind in practically everything (like over a year behind on even processing renewals) so fixing regulatory issues doesn't seem to be much of a priority right now.

Hello!

I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.

Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Does anybody else have serious issues with real estate brokers using the standard land sale (often residential) forms for sale of cannabis businesses!?!? There is no possible way for clients to comply with it since title companies refuse to touch the transaction. I am fine cleaning up the mess, but it's super awkward to try and not blame the broker when clients ask. I feel like I keep burning bridges with brokers which is a referral source...anyone else have the problem? Thoughts on how not to?
