Anyone buy catgirl?
Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Just figuring it out myself. Newbie too. Portland is an interesting mix of big nature within and around a city. There’ll be tons of that if you’re interested. Multnomah falls, forest park, Japanese garden, etc. It also has all these creative crafty funky places. Especially in east Portland (industrial) / burnside and a bunch of other small neighborhoods. Quirky bars and restaurants and shops. There’s also more charming but cool hoods like multnomah village. Downtown around 23d street Is interesting. But you need to keep aware everywhere. There are many, and I mean many, people struggling with homelessness and/or mental or drug issues. Don’t let it stop you from enjoying the place but keep alert and safe. It’s a unique place with a little grit too it but it has character and much to offer.
I need to check out the Museum myself. I haven't lived here long but haven't been there yet. I have added this to my list. Thank you for the recommendations.
Download the meetup app to find events and gatherings in portland, like for sports, outdoor activities, dating events etc to meet new people. For night life theres some clubs and bars in downtown chinatown. Cool sites like multnomah falls, pittock mansion etc.
Seconding the meetup app, I move around and its been super helpful in meeting new people!
Which meet up app? Or is it just called meet up?
Also - is this thread all advertising/marketing/creatives?
Should we organize a hang???
OP, how are you settling in?
Welcome! I’m in Tabor and love it here.
Don’t tell anyone you just moved from California. Let that come out later after you establish a friendship…
Also, finding a native Oregonian in Portland is like finding a unicorn.
Not necessarily, just be active in the local tribal communities. Plenty of Native events and meetups.
Unless you’re using the word “Native” wrong.
