A certain SVP is spamming the bowl about “Trump dues”. If you feel that this is a) clever b) funny c) contributes to the discussion at hand d) any combination of the above, you’d be wrong. A quick search shows at least 12 mentions of “Trump dues” by SVP in the last two hours.

P.s. I don’t know what industry SVP works in, but it sure isn’t finance or accounting because he doesn’t seem to understand the concept that large term loans can be (and usually are) settled by the issuance of a new loan.

MMT has hybrid work model and wants me to relocate so that I could appear in office twice in a week. They denied full remote opportunity. Given that some companies are providing full remote opportunities, is it still worth it to relocate for a job/career? The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?
