2/4 Thread (General):
Hi,
If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

6% of your salary yearly or 6% of your paycheck, which is the same thing
As SC1 notes, there’s no difference
It's not the same thing if you max out early (ie in October). Some firms have a "true up" to take care of this. Others don't.
Thanks, BCG. That's what I was gearing towards.
Payout wise it's amortized over each paycheck deduction
I thought it was 6% of your contributions. 6% of salary is insane.
You need to check your plan documents or potentially ask in your company bowl. My firm for example does it on a per pay check basis. So if you max out early, you lose out on the match, and there’s no true up. Slightly annoying.
Though we have an option to switch to after tax contributions, which I never used to do. But now we have the option to do in-plan Roth conversions of our after tax contributions. So now I do those and don’t have to worry about missing out on the match
Wife’s firm has a Feb true up. So you lose a few months in the market (good this year) but contribution ends up the same
Yes Accenture has a true up in December if you max out early in the year.
We have a process for true up to ensure you get full match. You'd have to search the portal or benefits site for more info.
