Been a great year for games. What was your fave?
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

Last month was also the second time I started a new job remotely. Set up 1:1s with as many people as you can during your first few weeks. Not every agency has a camera-on culture (which has its pros and cons), so it can be hard for your coworkers to put a name to a face.
It’s a lot easier when you’re in the office.
Update - worked in the office three days this week. Got a ton of stuff done, saw friends that I’d been missing, ate free food. It ruled.
Set up a lot of 1:1s and then make sure to keep following up with people.
It's not impossible to make strong social connections via the internet--just look at anyone under 35--you just gotta be more intentional about it.
Who said anything about “making friends”? I thought we were talking about establishing “strong social connections” with the people you spend 1/3 of your day with.
There’s no reason to believe that video 1:1s can replace being live if you want to form strong social connections with people, whether you work with them, hang out with them, date them, etc.
