Are you surprised that the people at the top of these companies vote fiscally instead of socially? Is it really that hard to imagine that people with millions tied up in the market have different political agendas than working class/middle upper class people have?
Mullen’s done plenty of lgbt stuff in the past. Even an anti(ish) Trump website before the elections. If it will win awards and get press they’ll be all for it. And in any case, Alex and John are trump supporters simply because they’re greedy, rich assholes.
Why you felt the need to turn it down is an issue because who gives a flying fuck who supports Trump or not. Just do what’s right, it’s not that hard. If you “can’t” do something because someone is a Trump supporter maybe you need to re-evaluate both your privilege and strength of character. 🤷🏾♂️
Why would you work for a Nazi is the bigger question
Why did you have to turn it down?
I'm confused why you turned it down.
I guess the stormtroopers said the same thing in ‘38 — “gotta pay the bills don’t I”
I work for the same company you do and I can tell you that they are not anti-gay. If you had to turn it down perhaps it was due to the fact that it was an ex-client with a strange relationship? Or that there is some other weird political factor at play? Maybe there aren’t any resources because the offices are strapped in so many ways? This is a really big allegation to make and a bit irresponsible to be making here if you ask me.
What Alex’s political views may be shouldn’t influence the business you take in. Business is business. Trump wouldn’t turn anything down if he could flip it into a buck.
Director of Social Media 1 has labelled “global CEO” a Nazi and OP a “38 Stormtrooper" so far in this thread.
While I’d like to believe this is an overworn joke, Poe’s Law and the current extent of Trump Derangement Syndrome means we can’t really be sure. 😂
AD3, shut-up. You’re contributing nothing but stupidity. Anyone who supports Trump, by default does support (or at least is complacent to) a very nazi-like situation, especially with him being so explicitly backed by white supremacists and the uptick in it being okay to be racist.
And yes following along with something “just because” is wrong, just in case that was to difficult for you to comprehend.
Nazis are running this country. If that’s too harsh of a term for you, continue to bury your head in the sand. The only way to stop nazis is to out them and shame them and make their lives as miserable as possible.
Did the ex client say no? Or did you turn it down? The global ceos personal political skew shouldn’t reflect on the whole company
John Moore is also a Trump guy. I’d be surprised if most of senior management isn’t, but they are confirmed. I think LGBT is still safe territory though as they are in it for the bucks and just ignorant/unaffected personally by the social issues that come along with their tax windfall.
Mullen is Spearheading an anti-gun campaign rn... they should be cool with some fiscally conscious fraternization with the gays.
But even if they weren't... dude.
Ad 2 you’ve got the world all figured out! Did you take logic in school? Trump is supported by some loons. So all people who voted for trump are loony? Meanwhile none of you asses know how these people voted and you’re calling them nazis? Christ. Time to go home. This thread is cooked
Bottom line: the female employees of Mullen showed great moral fortitude in leaving and refusing to work for a Nazi. Meanwhile the OP has showcased great entitlement by simply whining on FB and moving on with his life under a Nazi
MullenLowe OP please refer your ex-client to helpstarvethebeast@gmail.com
CD1, the peeps in question above told us how they voted. In person.
CD1, I respectfully disagree on the good guys bit. Still, I think that calling all republicans Nazis is wrongheaded, but pointing out that they are willing to accept Nazi behavior in order to get a tax break or get abortion disallowed is certainly true. The day after the election if Trump many Mullen women saw what they felt was a truth too much to bear in a leadership of a predominantly female agency, and they left- because they did not want to work for that kind of person. We love to say here “leave” but people rarely say why they are leaving so the feedback loop is broken.
