Would anyone be willing to teach me vlookup?
Every client, ever.

Hi Fishes,
Can anyone of you please tell me what would be the hierarchy level for a person joining in JPMorgan Chase with 5+ YOE?
What should be the naming convention of design for a person with this experience?
Analyst or Associate or Senior Analyst or Senior Associate?
Any leads would be highly appreciated.
TIA
Damn this is dead. How sad is that

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Crying alone seems to work ok.
Yes this is good advice. I was in the exact same position all these people are in multiple times in my life and got zero support from anyone. All I could do was cry alone.
Unfortunately we are at a time where multiple things are working against you… some people are choosing to work longer either due to necessity or just looking for more security in uncertain times taking possible jobs of others. At the same time corporate profits are being stressed which means tightening payroll among other areas. Throw in the uncertainty with tariffs and it puts both companies and new workers in a terrible position. If I were coming into the workforce now, I would attempt to network like crazy, meet recruiters at any job fairs either online or in person to develop relationships, and keep applying. Talk to your friends parents, your parents friends, and anyone else who will give you their time. It’s very tough and I don’t blame you for being both frustrated and scared. Keep at it and you will catch a break. If you can’t find anything in your field, consider something ancillary to start and gain experience.
Everything is a catch 22 right now in the job hunt and it is hard. For every one thing you HAVE to do to get a job is another piece of advice going against it. I’m just trying to focus on other things besides applying, worrying about it constantly isn’t helping although that is so much easier said than done.
No such luck getting noticed so far after three months of searching. As far as staying sane goes, working out and trying to make time to hang out with friends is doing some good for my mental health. Not enough to fully counteract how miserable this job market is, but it's something.
Yes. 100% yes. It feels like you’re just shouting into the void some days. What’s helped a little is shifting energy into networking instead of just applying. Even a few casual convos on LinkedIn or Reddit have led to referrals, which get way more traction than cold apps. Still frustrating, though.
