We have an employee who is legally an adult but does have a legal guardian. The employee comes to HR numerous times a month with questions, which in itself is fine....However, every time we speak with him, his guardian then calls to question us about the conversation.

Are we legally responsible for speaking to his guardian?
What are we allowed to share?

I currently work in edtech, but had the president of a building services company reach out to me about a position there. Curious do I leave tech and transition into another area of sales or stick it out and play the long game in tech? Building services position would be about a 25k raise

I’m looking to get into a SDR/BDR position preferably in Saas. I had one string of interviews with a potential employer but unfortunately did not work out. After asking and receiving feedback on my interview, I have been heavily applying to other job postings. I pride myself on my interview skills but I can’t seem to make it past the initial screening through the job boards. Any tips on getting an interview? I have over 2 yrs of sales xp and am looking at entry level SDR positions.

Feel like I’ve fallen out of love with sales. Love talking with people / presenting. Have been in my new role for a month, was promised a team to generate leads and all I do is cold call all day. Feel out of depth in terms of the knowledge I have. Can’t tell it’s imposter syndrome or need a new career change. Any advice? Feeling lost

Any other HR Professionals tired of not being consider for a role just because you haven’t worked in a tech start up? Honestly, I don’t know if I will be a fit or not (nor do they) if they say no even before the hiring manager has spoken to me. There are so many HR openings in tech right now so saying no people that haven’t worked in tech doesn’t make sense to me. Hi, I've recently been applying to a lot of tech companies in hopes of landing a more sales-orientated job. For my job, I service 200+ accounts monthly generating under half a million a year. Along with servicing the accounts I also perform the tasks of, AR collection, direct sales, generating leads, building and managing customer relationships, and also managing my client's inventory.
