Babe, divorce lawyer here 🙋🏻♀️
Are you in a community property state or ED state? You need to know thay before signing any prenup. Is his income due to a cash flow or a trust his parents set up for him? That relates to separate v. Marital property. If he gives you a prenup, you are likely entitled to counsel fees to negotiate it. You need to talk to a matrimonial attorney to protect yourself in this case because in the event of a split, counsel fees alone could be astronomical. With such a wealth disparity, in most cases a prenup is not recommended for the non moneyed spouse. However, you would want to see his financial docs to make sure you can collect in the event of a split. Sorry to make it so dark, but welcome to the life of a divorce lawyer lol.

Are those assets actually in your partner’s name? Or are they family assets they draw from?
A prenup can protect you as well, not just the moneyed spouse. Get a family law lawyer experienced with wealth management and discuss a prenup with your spouse. Don’t skimp on your own lawyer.
They’re self made. In their name
Can someone point me to these 7-figure jobs, or the men with them? Either one will do 😂
Partner def had an major exit somewhere if self made
Adopt me please ?
Also me. Please adopt me.
My partner makes low seven figures (i’m not sure what it’d be like if he had 50-100 million….) and I make 150k per year. No pre nup, he pays all our bills and has bought all our assets (house, cars, etc). He puts my name on all our assets etc. We do not have a joint bank account. I make so much less than him I felt like if we combined accounts, I wouldn’t be motivated to save etc. This set up works well for us. I’m ok keeping accounts separate and very appreciative we don’t have a pre nup.
I do. We’ve been married four years and he treats the money and decision making like it is just as much mine as his. It’s funny because i’m already forgetting in the first year of marriage we absolutely fought about finances. We weren’t so much a team and I felt like we belonged to different income classes even though we lived in the same house - it was a weird feeling. We fought about bank accounts, he would plan vacations I couldn’t afford even though I wanted to contribute, etc etc. I felt like he was leaving me in the dust kind of (he grew his wealth so I was there to watch him rise up). But we just keep with it and maybe because of time and trust, all of that is gone which is great.

If they haven't asked for a prenup, I'd let it be. I also wouldn't be surprised if his family pushes for one.
The bigger question I think goes more along what the first commenter wrote. What is your financial role and expected contribution? I can't imagine you are marrying him for his money, so a sincere conversation about what he expects of you, and you of him, is warranted. If children aren't in the picture but you have plans to have them, discuss that as well. Those discussions will help you determine your path forward. I would also consider using percentages as your numbers and not actual dollar amounts.
