Clinton is benefitting from the dot com bubble and left Bush holding the bag.
Opposite happened for Obama, he came in at the bottom and benefited from the recovery even though I don't think his policies did all that much. Also the market went on like a 30% rip between Trump's election and inauguration.
Trump and Biden are tough to judge due to COVID and the massive stimulus injection that accompanied it and led to this high inflation environment.

I would like to see the chart based on which party controls the House. They control the budget, thus have more control over the economy.
Chart is pseudo incorrect as it should be from Election Day to Election Day as the markets pops and moves immediately upon results.
Good point. We know that even election years can really affect the market, so it really should be based on the actual election days. I'm on pins and needles to see if they really run Biden all the way through November or if they're going to try to swap him out. Will have a major impact, I would assume
