Thoughts on manager MBB (first year) --> PE OPs Associate? is it a backward progress/hurt my CV if I don't make VP in the fund before I exit. Looking for VP roles at the moment but unclear how to think about Associate roles

I've spent a good amount of time working strategy, product development and change management/PMO projects . Data Scientist by training with a small amount of DD and financial modeling experience - so hopefully have the analytics chops to learn new skills as needed.

Working through getting some concrete M&A/ Valuations experience to make me a better candidate for a PE/VC firm. One question.

Will a shop take you and teach you on the go - or should I build that resume more?

At present I am working in ICICI Bank NRI department Product team . Its 3 months, I was assured some different job role buy now I am asked to do something else . I don't see any growth in this role , I am not able to enhance my skill.

Right now I see a lot of org transformation and people / Corp strategy health care cases at an MBB. But not sure which is better when thinking of exit opportunities in pharma. Thoughts?

Should I leave my first permanent job as a team leader of 4 DPs in a FMCG business (only been there for 4 months) to join a huge Tech business for a 12months contract?

They offer me 60% more money than my permanent role. Circa 2000 dollars every month in my pocket
