wine. a nice Riesling will do the trick. only off duty, of course. watching "Nurse John" shorts on YouTube. the true supportive friendships of a few healthcare workers that have been with you in the trenches with you. try, try, try to find a part time nursing job and find a side hustle to earn some more cash. Maybe giving flu shots at Wslgreen. I'm not joking. Private duty. MedicaidRN home care side gigs. Plan your career exit strategy. all the caring and wanting to help others give to your family, your church, food pantry, pets and animals, your neighbors. spread kindness anywhere you can- especially in your "own back yard." Rural home care was my savior. Productivity pressures were always present and stressful, but I cherished getting to develop relationships with my elderly "frequesnt flyers" with chronic diseases. Truly rewarding. hope this helps.

Breaks and vacations !
Prayers if you’re a believer. I promise you that I think of quitting every day because of being short staffed, overworked and having to deal with lazy new nurses!
We've all been in short-staffed scenarios and all anyone can do is just hang on and do your best. Given how bad the job market is, you have to think replacements will be along soon. Then again, some organizations are fixated on cutting costs and don't want to do any hiring. Let's hope a crisis somehow gets avoided.
I am really sorry to hear that. That is part of being in healthcare these days. It seems like we are always really short staffed all the time. My team is what gets me through the hard times.
