Good evening all,
With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. Any similar experience to share?

Can anyone share a policy discussing no longer using high flow oxygen during decels in labor? (due to aerosolization)

Hi everyone! I currently work in an outpatient setting doing individual therapy but am planning to leave my job. I have a handful of patients, some of which have been meeting with me consistently for over 2 years, that I suspect will want to remain in touch after I leave. Has anyone ever done this before? If so, what did it look like for you and the patient? Or do you advise against it and if so why? I’ve been researching this and can understand both sides of the argument. Thanks in advance!

My 5 year old niece overseas has developed flu-like symptoms and now after a few days there are fluid filled blisters appearing on her arms, legs, belly. We’re thinking it’s chickenpox (she’ll be seen by a doc tomorrow). Any parents here whose kids has chickenpox, how long did it last and did you have to give any meds to your kids? Received my first prenatal massage at 19 weeks today and the therapist was trained and did a bit of myofascial stretching techniques. Never touched my stomach. Just lower back, arms, legs and feet. I have had cramps in my abdominal area since a few hours after the massage. Not sure if it’s cramps or stretching pains. Drinking a ton of water to flush out toxins, but is this pain normal?

What are you all reading other than maternity help books? Any book recommendations for after baby is born? Mainly around how to keep the baby safe from injuries and incidents.
