When I have a job, I shoot for about 10 a week. When I don't have a job, I shoot for about eight per day. And this isn't just clicking "easy apply" on LinkedIn; it is actually taking the time to individualize each application and taking the process seriously.
Minimum 5 per day
Rising Star
I’d say around 10–20 well-tailored applications a week is pretty reasonable. Fewer than five can feel a bit slow, but once you’re past 30, it usually means quality is slipping. In my experience, targeted and thoughtful applications make a much bigger difference than just applying everywhere.
Set a goal for yourself and see how that feels. Whether it’s 5 a day, 10 a day, 20 a week, etc. Do that and see how it feels. Doesn’t matter if you get 100 applications out if 85 of them weren’t targeted or matched the job.
Not a number per se, but don’t forget to do informational interviews. Talking to someone already in the company is a ridiculously easy way to get your foot in the door.
Target/tailor at least 20-30 per week and also reach out to the HR/Hiring manager if you don’t have an intro from someone.

Have you tried working with a recruiter? That is the way to go imo.
