Today is definitely a "taxing" Thursday! I've been considering DoorDash for a flexible side hustle to earn some extra money. While researching the costs, I came across this article, and I'm now worried that the new rules about not taxing tips and overtime might actually make it less appealing. What are your thoughts? Also, if you have any other job suggestions besides DoorDash, I'd love to hear them!

I mean, they can't make it simple, right? Because then how would they justify the entire tax industry if we could just do it ourselves. Or even crazier, why couldn't they just tell us what we owe at the end of each year instead of making us guess and then punishing us if we're wrong? As far as your question, I've had some pretty good luck with Instacart. It tends to pay better than DD!
I suppose people will never catch on to the idea that any gimmicky things promised to make your life easier will always turn out to be a scam. And depending on who's making the promise that's especially true. I know people who feel like they can't do their own taxes, and this all sounds like a plot by the tax industry to make more people give up and pay someone to do theirs.
