How does leveling work for non-tech (non-swe) roles in Google?

Most information online are tech-specific, e.g., entry levels start at L3. Is it different for non-tech? E.g., fresh grads join at L1, 0-2y experience join at l2, etc.

Thoughts and Advice on Candidacy withdrawal? Had a great opp for interviewing for L5/L6 targeted role in GCP. Unfortunately after 2 reschedules on my end (surgery and COVID), I ran into a work issue where I was in as-hoc scheduled in critical meetings that conflicted with the my interview slot. I took the hard decision to withdraw rather than request another reschedule as I felt that would be too unprofessional. Was that the right call?
