Wanted to know your experience of applying for jobs abroad. For those who converted and joined abroad, did you apply for jobs on LinkedIn? Which platform would be the best for a senior data scientist in India. Also I get 30 lpa now, is it worth going abroad? Can we save more?

I've recently got an offer for 60k yearly in Hamburg. They're sponsoring relocation for myself and wife as well and 3 month stay.
Currently placed at 20 lpa with 7 years of exp and wife at 12 lpa.
And before moving she would have to put down the papers and search for job there afresh.
I'm also having offer for 30+ lpa in India.
Would it be a wise decision to move there. Would I be able to save enough and enjoy as well?

UK market is open only for niche skillsets ( Data engineer + analytics). Firms aren't interested in sponsoring rest all skill sets, as they can be filled internally. They have limited quota every year, and are very choosy when it comes to allocation. Preference is first given to EU nationals and then Asians during shortlist stage.

Referral works, but the person who is referring you should have enough clout in the organization to present your profile!

Does DT reimburse CPA fees if say you write your exams whilst working outside of Audit, eg Consulting , and then return to Audit after passing all courses.

The severance package at Meta for laid off employees almost makes it nice to be laid off depending on what your personal situation is….. personally wouldn’t mind getting 4+ months of full pay to reset and think about what’s next 😬

Hi Group, seems like it should be basic format, but I just can not get it to work. a list of data and want to alternate shade (blue,white,blue,etc) each line but if I have multiple lines I want to group together and they all shade the same. I want to group by the same data in column A, and the number of rows that are the same could vary. So let’s say row 1& 2 same entry in column A(blue) row 3 different (white) row 4,5,6 same as each other different to other rows (blue) etc… help 🙏

Hi everyone. How do taxes and health benefits work in remote jobs if the employer is in a different state than the one you live in? I did some digging in google, found a mix of answered and wanted to hear from others with this experience.

Anyone aware of any job hunt website or recruiter where it's easier to find full remote (like international remote) tech jobs?Those were rare to find but I am hoping the pandemic might have prompted more employers to offer these.
