Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

If you start now you could be practicing by your early/mid 30s (2 years post bac, 4 years med school, 3-6 years residency). Not bad! You’d still have another 30ish years working after that.
Why not healthcare consulting
Would rather be a clinician. I’d love to work one on one with people
No. My little peanut brain doesn’t work well with memorization or medical stuff. That’s why I’m in finance lol.
Fiancé is in med school and I would flunk out in a heartbeat

I love them! They are so refreshing - a change of scenery from my daily job.
I’ve thought about pivoting to be a doctor. But I’m 25, and that seems impossible. After specializations and everything I’d start school shortly before looking to retire lol. If you’re in a similar position to me but think differently here I’d love to talk about it.
I’m considering this too! 25 is such a young to not consider other options
