Def seen a lot of catching up on the infrastructure side, as well as seeing bigger slice of the pnl pie go towards e trading at the expense of voice. Though my impression has been that technology infrastructure for a sales and trading operation isn't very scalable, in that it's gonna cost a smaller bank similar notional but way bigger proportion of revenue to develop the systems compared to a big global bank with enough pnl to justify the investments. This has led to a lot of the "can't be everything to everyone " strategy at a lot of dealer's management.
