Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Nah, not brainwashed. You're just wired a certain way and that's fine. I always feel more inspired/creative/what have you working from home than in office. I know a lot of people who are like you who have an impossible time focusing at home. Neither approach is correct/incorrect, it's just a personal preference thing.

Same I think as a designer / visual first person it’s easier to think more clearly without the noise. I still have maybe something playing in the background but not random people interrupting me with their convos
Everyone has different optimal work situations. Ideally we’d be trusted enough to choose for ourselves whether to be in person or remote.

Yes ideally. My ideal is one day in the office for human connection. Other people need more!
nope. i was the same exact way as a junior and still feel the same as a mid. you miss out on a LOT of happenstance learnings just because you arent in an office or near more senior folks

What are some things that you learn from people? Been remote forever

I don’t hate it I love the freedom. If I had an office nearby I’d be in there once a week. I think I’d get too distracted with people around me all the time
