Personal reason for me would be reputation and client attractiveness. Also more interested in revenue-side consulting compared to mainly doing back office optimization currently. Is the latter one legit to tell in interviews or too harsh about current employer?

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?

I cleared Accenture interview and today got an email to upload documents on their portal. Also, got a call from HR and she asked about the salary expectations and other details. And few minutes later I found that my profile has been put on hold.

question is, they will negotiate with me or they have rejected my profile ?

From last 40-50 day's; I get call from HR ...
.they asked whether they can schedule interview on Wednesday....i said Yes.

But somehow I get schedule cancellation e-mail on or before Tuesday & the process continues from last 1.5 months

Will i get interviewed @accenture or not....
