I’ve been having reoccurring nightmares about getting laid off :(

There have been surprising news with layoffs lately. Has anyone here been affected by the layoffs at Twitter or META?

Have you been laid-off, furloughed, or fired yet? And how were you told this? Do you know anyone, personally, who was laid off?

I asked for a raise and instead got laid off. Told that after looking into finances not only can they not afford a raise they cannot afford me. But I know for a fact they are replacing me with an Agency that say they can run our Social Media for 500pcm. Is this normal practice these days?

Hey Guys. Regarding the forced layoffs in PS. It’s high time we unite and hit them back. I’ll request all people who’ll receive the video connect email from PS to do one important thing. Use a a pen camera or a hidden camera(small) in your pocket before attending the call and record the call and events. These peoples should not be spared. Try to get some evidence and let’s expose to public media and other legal teams. You can do this anonymously thereby saving others from this crap.

I’m quitting my job tomorrow morning. I don’t have a new job lined up. I’m scared, but also excited? I’ve felt under utilized for months, and haven’t had a promotion after two years. I never take risks like this, but life is too short. Is this a bad choice?

I got offer from IBM in my home location itself, with 18.5LPA fixed for 9 yea in automation testing. Let’s talk about wrongful termination. The other day I was fired in the middle of the day without any warning. My colleagues called me because they were confused on why the Talent Manager dismissed me from the chat. I didn’t know what they were referring to. So I called my PM to ask what was happening, and she said that she just got off the phone with the TM and said they were terminating my contract on the spot due to me speaking up about micromanaging.
