We have a potential candidate joining siemens I know what the candidate's expected salary is and Their YOE The candidate has 1/2 of my YOE but will be making more than me when the candidate joins. The position the candidate is joining for is the same pl9 level as mine Can I do something such that I get my pay level at parity ? Siemens

You can definitely discuss with your manager about pay parity but don't quote this example saying the candidate you hired is getting more than you. Pay parity has been a very big problem in Siemens and they claim that they have salary correction every 2-3 years but it definitely doesn't help.
