I like to think I have enough moral fiber to be willing to do this. The real answer is that I'm not sure I do. I hate all the changes I've been seeing made, but it's hard to speak up when you know doing so will put your livelihood at risk. If I didn't have a wife and kids, it'd be a lot easier. As is, I wouldn't just be putting my career at risk, but their quality of life as well, which is enough to give me pause.

It’s a tough position to be in. A friend posted on Facebook about how she feels about what’s going on at work. I hope it doesn’t come back to haunt her.

Hello! I’m based in NYC and looking for my next role. I work in the digital strategy/brand strategy space. I have experience across multiple industries (tech/telecom/Pharma (dermatology)/beauty and skin care and I am looking for a Director or VP role (my last job was a VP). I would like to keep my base of at least $180k (is this reasonable if I look for Director positions too?) Would love to land something soon before we hit the holiday season. Do you think what I am looking for is reasonable?

Hi HR Professionals! I am revising our current employment application form. Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. I was just curious what other Employers/HR Professional have done. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
