I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/

If you want a busy city then Melbourne or Sydney is the way to go. More roles, competitive but less lifestyle. Brisbane is the better city, close to Sunshine Coast and Gold Coasts for lifestyle. Lower rents/house prices and laid back culture. There will be less competition so you can shine, bosses in Deloitte are pretty cool there, Syd and Melb bosses can be up tight and too rigid if you want to balance work and life. But corp culture has been changing.
Happy New Year!
I knew that Sydney was competitive, but was under the impression that Melbourne is laid back. People have previously told me that Sydney can be compared to Toronto and Melbourne to Vancouver or Montreal. I’ll look into Brisbane some more, as I don’t really know much about it.
Thank you! ☺️
Hi! From a lifestyle perspective and with a bias of being from Sydney... Brisbane is very relaxed and much more of an outdoor lifestyle as other people have said. Cheapest of all the cities but it is pretty small in comparison though and you have to forget about autumn/spring/winter exisiting as a concept it’s one season summer. There’s a city beach though! The vibe of Sydney is kind of showy but it’s also a pretty city to be in. Not to say there isn’t an outdoor type lifestyle they have that as well. But it’s somewhere inbetween Melbourne and Brisbane for a lot of what you are looking for. Be warned it’s very spread out and we are the most cliquey of cities unfortunately. Melbourne I would compare to a more European and arty feel. The best food, coffee and culture is here. Best public transport options would also be here. Winter, if you have yet to be told, for some reason will feel colder than anything you were used to in Canada, I’m sorry but I don’t make the rules on that.
How come you're thinking of a move from Canada to Australia?
Happy New Year! I’m looking for a change in pace, and would like to experience living in another part of the world. I visited Australia a while back and could picture myself living there. Also, while the snow here is very nice to look at, I don’t like the extreme cold and the fact that it gets dark at 4:30pm in the Winter. I would rather have 30C and more daylight than -30C and months of early darkness.
