Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

I understand you my friend! I hope you find a way to talk to other people more easily!
Read ‘how to win friends and influence people’ and it can at least frame how people like to be spoken to. Moral of the story is find things people are interested in and talk to them about it in a genuinely interested way. They’ll do most of the talking.
I know it's not easy, I suffered from anxiety when I had to be in a crowded place. I didn't like feeling this way, so I decided to seek professional help to overcome this problem.
Find common ground. I am a more social engineer than most. The tool O use is to find out something of commonality with each Co worker. I simply look at the office or even their resume to find their interestes. College they went to, sports they play or follow, where they are from, kid photos, etc. These amongst other things create a bond. Professionally find out their skillsets and expertise and start with running projects by then, questions on topics they may be knowledgeable about.
Yes, it's definitely possible to talk to people without making it sound unnatural! Just take things slow and be yourself. It sounds like you're worried about what other people might think of you, but as adults, this usually shouldn't be a concern, especially if you're surrounded by professionals!
Don't worry- most people are just interested in getting to know new people and aren't judging you too harshly. Just be genuine and friendly and you'll make plenty of friends in no time. :) Best of luck and congrats on the job!
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best way to talk to people will vary depending on the person. The best advice I can give you is to just be yourself and don't overthink your interactions, you'll be fine :)
Some tips that may help include being genuine and authentic in your conversations, taking an interest in the other person, and being mindful of your body language. If you find that you still struggle with socializing, it may be helpful to seek out counseling or therapy to help you work through your anxiety.
