We rarely, rarely ever have any pop up. Would agree though if it was once in a while, probably nothing to really bat my eyes at. Does seem like a slippery slope for some though. I have worked very hard on my work filter! Doesn’t take much before you get TOO comfortable and end up in a situation.

Does the situation involve HR?
I never use it myself, even though I am fully capable, having grown up in a family with a pretty raucous lexicon. I always think of it as unprofessional in office environments. It has become more common in society and in business, but I think it's kind of cringey when you see things like politicians putting it in their public statements.

Or in their text messages!
I'm not at all bothered by it, but I do try to avoid it as much as possible. If I'm in my office with one of my closer colleagues, I don't worry too much about slipping up, but I generally try to keep things very PG whenever I'm talking in a group setting.
I have never been bothered by profanity anyway. I have worked in situations where I’ve been the only female in the department or office and then the guys feel like they have to be careful at what they say, but honestly, I’m fine. Profanity has never bothered me and I have quite the potty mouth myself.
