Its been months and DOL is working on requests from Jan’22. My H1B expires for good in Oct’23 (with all the recapture). Is there any chance I’ll have my PERM completed by then? Are other companies' big data systems as bad as Amex's?


Amex is the only company I've been with so I want to know from others how it's like in other companies. Hive is so slow. Yellowbrick is fast but not all cornerstone data is there and is practically useless for my team's use case. MLS crashes so often. Ask Aida support is so sloppy and they just regurgitate the same information over and over again. Is this an Amex thing or is this just how big data works everywhere?

I have recently joined a project and I'm not finding myself comfortable with the team at all.. especially my manager. I'm just 2 yoe and all my teammates are more than 10+ yoe. I do try my best to blend in,but I get calls from my manager that I am slow and that my performance could lead me into trouble. How do you effectively set boundaries with your supervisors? For example, my manager constantly at the end of the day asks me to work late to complete work for the following day. I usually propose working on it the following day, but he pushes back every time and tells me this is part of being a manager.
