I see the richest man in the world advocating for a policy that would help keep him be the richest man in the world. So… not really good arguments for it.

I suggest reading a book entitled: “the creature from Jekyll island”
Really interesting perspective on the founding and history of the Fed.
On a side note: the federal reserve is not federal - it has private shareholders who are undisclosed, and per its charter they receive 6% in dividends per year. And it has no reserves - when the Fed purchases securities it does so from an account with a zero balance.

They can write any sized check and since they are the ones who verify the available funds, they give themselves a pass, and issue new dollars to fund treasury bill purchases.

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.

What's the market these days for someone with not-great technical skills, 12 YOE, TS clearance, hard-to-find/unique skillset, elite masters, middle management in DoD contracting, experience with critical/high profile roles?

I'm thinking 120-135k would be bad/mediocre, 180-195k would be possible/a stretch, and 160-170k would be doable/realistic. Thoughts? Not interested in Deloitte.

They reduced the therapy questions on the secret clearance form so that you don't have to disclose therapy except in specific circumstances. Is it still on the TS form?
