I've never worked in an office with music playing and having it would be a problem for me. I'm just not wired to be able to simultaneously concentrate and listen to music. I know some people are, and I'll see people wearing earbuds in the office. But the last time I worked in a place with music playing was at a summer job where concentration wasn't a big issue.

Personally I find it so boring working without music! Having background noise keeps me focused and locked in, I feel the days drag so much when we don’t have anything on. But I am quite lucky that everyone in my office feels the same way, so we typically have it on
I can't find the words for how much I would hate dad lol. I am so glad I work remote. Thankfully, even when I was in the office, I never worked somewhere that played music. I would sometimes have my earbuds in and listen to my own music, but I wouldn't want anyone choosing the music for me. Way too distracting.

Oh wow that’s so interesting! I personally can’t work without music, I get wayyy too bored
I'm not a fan and am glad this doesn't happen at my work. I have my headphones in most of the day, so it wouldn't be a big deal if we did, but I'd still prefer not to have to listen to music nonstop whenever I do take them out.

Each to their own!
I can't concetrate on my work when there is music on. Sometimes I will put my headphones in and listen to something but when I have to concentrate i need silence. We all bring out own headphones

Wow that’s so interesting!! I’m the total opposite, I lose focus when it’s silent, I need to have background noise to keep me going haha

I like having music on. It makes the office feel lively! Totally get that it’s not everyone’s vibe though, maybe keeping it at a low volume or having headphones as an option works best, I suppose.
