What is brand advocacy?

Broadly, I'd suggest considering how you publicly represent the brand.

Advocating is about representing with tone of voice, key messaging, knowing what the organisation stands for and what their policy standpoints are.

It's also about being a spokesperson for the brand, communicating decisions or responses, and holding the line if people challenge or push back.

Imagine holding a shield with your brand logo and having your organisation's hat (mindset) on when you communicate.

It's as much about mindset as it is messaging. Hope this helps

In the process of interviewing for a strategy/Corp dev position at an activewear/athleisure company and they want me to think of a couple tangential industries that may have companies for acquisition and do a write up. I’m stumped on what else an activewear company would buy besides other activewear companies. I can only think of home fitness (Lulu’s Mirror) or vitamins/supplements. Any thoughts?

PARTNERS: two questions —1. If you see an associate has really low hours for the month, do you imagine them chillen on a beach somewhere or do you consider they probably spent most of their days sitting in front of the computer being “available”? 2. If you send an associate a random e-mail on a weekend like “Can you pull X and send to Y”, would you get annoyed if they responded saying they weren’t by a comp or would you consider it reasonable that they wouldn’t be by a comp on a weekend?
