In my opinion, the slow ROI keeps businesses from seeing the importance of investing in the community. Do you think that attitude is changing?

I think attitudes are slowly changing, but it's still a major issue for businesses. They want to see a fast return on investment, and unfortunately, investing in the community doesn't always offer that.

Now there are many companies that understand that to grow their ROI in a profitable way they must grow their community, it is a variant that is changing in our favor, the importance given to the image of the brand is increasing.

Many companies maintain outdated practices, which is why they believe that the least necessary department is marketing, but I have seen many companies improve their numbers thanks to smart investments in brand image.

This trend is now very different, companies know that they need a good marketing department to improve their numbers, not everything is the product, it is very important to know how to offer them.

If you have a company that offers a product or service and you have economic problems, you must sacrifice the department that generates the least for you immediately, even though it is not the most intelligent decision, it is the most successful in the immediate term.

It's changing but not fast enough. It's the same issue with social media marketing and to a lesser extent, marketing. It has always been an issue that roles that don't produce instant results fall on the priority list no matter how important they are to the future.

After 6 years as a community manager I feel exhausted. I've noticed my ideas are not innovative anymore. I'm tired of replying to the same inquiries over and over again. I even stopped using social media during my spare time because I can't handle it anymore.
I know burnout is a common thing and you'll tell me to stay away from social media for 5 days or something. But is this a feeling that will one day go away or is this just the end of my career as I know it?
