What is one daily workplace task that you dread the most and/or try to get out of any chance you get? Mine is daily huddle. I see the benefits in morning huddles, but the huddles with my team are not had like they are meant to be had, and end up feeling like a waste of time. And sometimes it can damper my whole day…

Right there with you OP because I dread the morning huddles too. Not because they are bad or anything but sometimes it just feels like we are talking about the same thing at every morning huddle lol. I just feel like that is time I could use doing something else.

Feels good to not be alone in this. For a minute we tried to skip huddles altogether but then some said they were missing out on daily happenings… even though they were never being discussed from the first place

Do you feel like because they happen daily that is the problem? For me, it’s not something I can get out of but I really dread having to map out and plan my day. It’s really just because it feels like such a huge task (it’s really not) but once I’m done it makes for me to have a decent day.

I love mapping out my day, but we don't even talk about what our day looks like at huddle! It is all pointless small talk or random Q’s that take away from the whole point and last the whole huddle. It would be nice to go to a M/W/F huddle but there’s different ppl working everyday so it wouldn't be “fair” to not give everyone a crack at it.

Republicans have no idea about the recording yet lol. Fox news has not covered it since it came out yesterday at 2pm. Fair and balanced indeed :) That's how bad it is for Trump and GOPs chances of holding onto the Senate.

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

Hi there! I interview for a position with a planned Parenthood this week for a role as Special Events Manager to oversee their fundraising department. Because most of my work and experience has been in freelance. I’m having a hard time figuring out what my work experience translates to in a Salary position. Therefore, I wonder what my base pay should be. Does anyone have any experience in the role?
