Code is easier to maintain and transition than “clicks” by far. I’d rather work on an app where the entire UI and business logic are custom than deal with an org whose admins were pushing the limits of flow.

Yeah, but it's not just about you, and people who can code. Especially when talking business applications, as opposed to customer-facing.
Most people posting about SF on LinkedIn have no clue what they’re talking about but get massive amounts of engagement.
Yeah it was a better program/initiative when it first started but now it’s significantly less effective with much more competitive entry level roles.

Benioff has outlived his usefulness and needs to be replaced. He adds no value to the business of Salesforce and has become a human cringe-factory when it comes to philanthropy/DEI/etc.
That’s not a hot take at all. It’s the truth
2 years of Experience with 2 certs trumps 20 certs with less than 2 years experience.
Salesforce f$&?ed themselves by going on an acquisition spree in last few years
The salesforce market share is protected by the Ohana. Salesforce community of professionals is second to none and that builds a moat that competitors cannot copy without paying community leaders $billions of dollars.
On that note. Microsoft if you are listening I will build you community for $4M and a free GPT account.
Don’t mess with the Mafia
Microsoft is going to take market share from Salesforce over the next 5 years
For the last 20 years now...
Customers with a spend less than $1M can figure things out for themselves.

For the average business user, the software is difficult to use and configure properly.
It’s a solid mid market/enterprise software, but you need to write code 9/10 times to deliver your business requirements.
Yup PRN1 they market salesforce as something anyone can configure without knowing how to write code
“Customer success”
P1 yeah I’d kinda disagree too. It’s great for mid tier companies that have some complexity to them. Where I have run into issues is in the enterprise level and they needing really specific use cases (which then are done by code).
What in your experience has lead you to say it’s complex to configure? I’m interested now
