What is your best advice for moving into data science without going back to school for a masters?
I have an engineering bachelors and my mba, and want to move into the data science and analytics side of things in the long term.
I’m currently in Strategy Consulting and I find it too functional and hypothetical/theoretical/ high level. Looking for advice on resources, timelines, skillets, building connections/network, things to consider, moving forward /path of last resistance, etc etc

I have been practicing in creditors rights/foreclosure in PA & NJ for around 4.5 years. Due to the foreclosure/eviction moratoriums there is no work to do and I was furloughed. I am looking to change directions- what is the most logical next move?

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. I had technical and behavioral interview today at Deloitte Canada for visual analytics and information design position.
In technical round there was a case study to create visual data sheet and present it to technical round.

It went good they asked couple of questions and showed that at some point it lacks of continuity and rest thing is good. I have been told we will discuss and send details to HR and you will get update within few days. What are the chances that they can hire me ?

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.

Ok. I am teaching music in person and when we have a case of COVID in the school, I push into the classroom for 10 days. Are there music websites that are free that I can go to for quick lessons when I’m asked to teach in the classroom. I was told today with 5 minutes to prepare that we had a case, I couldn’t teach in my room and I couldn’t do the ukulele unit I had planned. I had to think on the fly and quickly came up with a BrainPop for them. I’d like to find a few more music sites.
