Its normally a bigger initial bump to industry but less growth levels over time so it depends on your level
I moved as a heavily experienced manager at Crowe to VP role and my raise of salary was minimal. But my bonus is massive where my total comp plus benefits vs hours worked ended up being something close to a 60% bump.
I was laid off earlier this month and most recruiters have been pitching me at $95k for senior accounting positions. Just short of 3 years of public experience. Also CPA. I was making $75k. The offer I landed is basically $95k with a bonus, so maybe $105k if all goes well. I’m in MCOL, but on the higher end of the scale.
I’ve seen some senior positions going up to $115k or $125k, but those may not pay that much to start.
I'm in industry. Depends on your level. Our seniors are 70-100k but managers $170k+.
It depends on which industry and position you apply for. I jumped from senior to industry analyst making the same as public manager salary.
