It depends on d intent of manager. If performance is the only reason, and you genuinely work towards closing pip goals, you can come out

Why did you get PIP? How long are you in ISL?
Been here for 7months, Stating the reason my productivity is lower compared to my other teammates under the manager, he made me into low performance category, even though i completed all my checkpoints and goals and appreciated for the task I accomplished, no use of arguing much as they already decided to keep someone from team to be as low performer,

I would suggest to speak with him again and get this clarified. For no reason manager will not to keep you in pip. There has to be a specific reason. You cannot simply say that manager want someone to give low performance and that’s you. He needs to justify why he wants to give pip.
what happened after that? I am also part of IBM ISL and recently got in PIP stating the same reasons what should i do?
