Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

That can be answered numerous ways. What type of housing are you looking for?
Ideally something that is quiet, comes with parking, and has a washer, dryer, heat, and ac.
I typically travel a lot, so would only be around ~10 ish days a month. I typically prefer more residential to city feel but can be flexible. I don’t care much about building or community amenities (ie pool)
New to the housing/renting market in the area - open to learning more about what is on the market
Depends on what you want to do when you’re home - proximity to the mountains? City? No preference?
I’d recommend looking at the University Hills, Cherry Creek, Washington Park, and Platt Park if you want to be “in” Denver. Lower Highlands (LoHi) is extremely popular with the 23-30 year old crowd.
I’ve heard good things about edgewater and sunnyside.
Tech Center is newer, closer to the airport but boring (everything is new and nice but it’s mostly corporate business parks out that way)
Otherwise Golden, Morrison, Arvada, Littleton, parts of Lakewood all have nice areas with trails and parks - little more suburban but closer to the mountains (further from the airport).
Personally would avoid Aurora (iffy), Castle Rock (very conservative), Highlands Ranch (extreme suburbia), downtown (dead during the weekends).
My wife and I own in Morrison now but used to lease a 2BD 2BA in Wash Park for 3,300/mo which we loved.
I’d stay away from the mega complexes if at all possible.

This particular unit is rented already, but I look for something like this, old Spanish style town homes. Perfect for a single or couple without kids. They Come with a flex space (usually in the basement) and a very small backyard which is nice for puppy 🐶 parents. I just scan through Zillow honestly. I prefer Clayton/Cole/Jefferson Park area. They are close to the city center and public transportation, but has a quite neighborhood feel to it. And they have plenty of free street parking.
