Any science teachers here?! Dissecting frogs in eighth grade made me want to learn everything I could about anatomy, that's why I'm a science teacher, and it's not the same to teach kids online as it is in person

You're not back in the classroom yet? Where are you if you don't mind me asking? I agree, the pandemic made it a lot harder to keep kids engaged.

You are absolutely right, I loved going back to teaching in the classroom. It's not the same and the students also show more interest if they are doing the practicals.

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

I have a total of 4 years sales experience, 1 year in life insurance sales and 3 in retail banking (lending, investment referrals, merchant services referrals).

I did well in banking, but incentive plan has suffered tremendously, so I’m looking to jump into tech sales where I could be more compensated for the work.

Anyone in tech sales willing to chat? ☕️

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?
