Hey Denver folks! I moved to Denver in December 2019 just before covid19 hit for a new job. Still don't know very many in the area. Currently at a Big4 but the only member of my team in the state. Anyone looking to make new friends etc?

30M, Dog Dad, enjoy hiking, trying new foods etc. Originally from NYC, MBA from Leeds.

I just moved to Denver from dc to be closer to family and would love to meet some new friends! I’m a dog mom, live in capitol hill, and am 31!

I’m ~ 30F, big4 , puppy mom with multiple post-puppy depression breakdowns. No MBA bc I finagled my way into the system without one 😆 denver is a challenging town full of more mountain people than intellectuals. What we give up for the outdoors...

Sure!

Hi, my fiancé and I are both new to Denver, in our 30s, have a 14-yr old dog. I work in Big 4 and he works in utility industry. Would love to make more friends.

Wife and I are mid-30s. No kids. Two rescue pups. Take them hiking all the time. Big mountain bikers, road cyclists and skiers (Ikon only please). Always looking to get out there with more people if interested. Just bought a house in Sunnyside. Desperately missing playing soccer. Moved from Chicago a year ago. I’m a tech consultant and she’s a comms Director.

Holiday Season - at my former company, around this time of year I would have already gotten a ton of gift baskets etc. - not something I would ever take home but open up for the team and leave out. Started somewhere new last November, have dealt with multiple firms in various regions of the last year, many of which have billed several $100ks, have yet to receive anything. Are firms no longer doing this post COVID?

I feel like working from home has been the death of my dating life. I used to at least go on 4 dates a month, and I was casually seeing a guy for a while. Post covid, I love my work-life balance but I'm never out. I can't meet people sitting at my desk, and I have no local coworkers to pull me out of the house for happy hour.

Last year when Covid broke, I received a couple of interview calls but ignored them as I felt the organization kept me at work when other companies cut short their HR staff so I should be with them even if with no appraisal. But now, I was living in the fool's paradise when I am told to leave with no job offers in hand, car and home loan, dependent parents, expecting jobless spouse with a 3-year old kid.

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Or should I wait until I somehow gain more hands on SF experience?
