Do you think we will be able travel by Christmas for a vacation?

Renegotiating my contract and curious about maternity leave policies at other practices/hospitals. Do you get paid leave? If so how much time off & are you getting full pay? We are a group of about 75 employees, 6 docs with 5 PA’s and only unpaid 12 weeks off.

Would you go on an international vacation shortly after a frozen embryo transfer (5-10 days after)? It is looking like my first transfer opportunity will be shortly before a trip I already have planned. I’d rather not wait, and the one time I have been pregnant before I implanted on a international vacation but I don’t know if this is a stupid thing to do? I have a very stressful job so maybe it would be good to be away from work?? Curious what others think.

What is your company’s resignation policy? I work with a company that has a 4 week policy if you’re quitting. Their reasoning is so that they can find a replacement, and necessary you want to get paid out for your remaining PTO. I recently accepted a new role and submitted a notice that should have been 4 weeks (new job starts 6/8, notified current company on 5/10). My company is now saying that it’s not a full 4 weeks and won’t pay out my 41 hrs of remaining PTO

Associates asking if they can take time to eat dinner, run an errand, find 20 minutes to exercise: YES (with some exceptions for trial, closings, etc.). No one will set boundaries for you. No one is going to tell you “hey, go eat” or “hey, make sure you see your family.” People will treat you like crap for as long as you allow them to do so. And once you start letting them treat you like crap, it becomes harder & harder to set boundaries. Also, if you hate your job so much, find a new job.
