But I would have to transition from remote to 3 days in the office. And I might be moving cities within a year bc of my partners career, so I’d have to find a new job, and also probably stay in my current city for a few months to vest, while my partner moves.

Hi Fishes, I was hired by Optum as Tableau Developer in June 2021. One year passed and I was just doing support and maintenance work on Tableau dashboards (no new development). Now the company wants me to work on Power BI and convert all dashboards into it. I want to make my career in Tableau and I don't want to work on Power BI as I find it hard as compared to Tableau also less interesting.
