Finally decided to cash out of crypto and I’ll be taking a few years off.

Change my mind: my parents and my in laws both had to take substantial amounts out of their 401k/ cash them out later in life. They spent it all and didn't save money for related taxes (had to borrow money to pay taxes) . Because of their irresponsibility, I'm keeping half of my contributions to a roth401k and half in traditional, assuming I may be in a similar situation later in life (but hoping not!) and not wanting to forget about taxes and be bit in the butt

I currently live with three other roommates who I have generally gotten along with. I had the opportunity to buy a home with my SO and would like to move out of my apartment three months before my lease is up. I have a friend who would like to take over my lease, but one of my roommates is adamantly against allowing me to sublet, saying that I need to honor my lease agreement. Any advice how to plead my case for a sublet or on recooping the 5k in rent that I have to pay on top of my mortgage?

They also have car lease program in place but only for work location . With this current WFH setup , how can one leverage car lease benefits . Is it possible to replace care lease program with some other benefit like extra paid leaves or something else ??
