What time do you usually sign off during the workweek? I’ve always felt that if your work is done, there’s no reason to just sit by your computer until 6 PM for appearances. Some days I’m deep in spreadsheets till 7, other days I wrap by 4:15 and log off guilt-free. But I know not every team—or manager—is cool with that. Do you feel pressure to “look busy” until a certain hour, or does your team truly value output over hours logged?

If I’ve finished my work, I’m not sitting around for some performative corporate theater. They pay me for results, not for pretending to type at 5:59 PM. I'm out.
Mine only really cares about results. As long as I get my work done, I don't feel guilty about closing up shop a little early. I'm not logging off at noon or anything, but an hour early seems fine to me.
