[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Stay away from the bay area unless youâve got a ton of money to blow on housing and would enjoy a miserable commute. Homes in Sacramento are cheaper. Sacramento isnât my favorite place but itâs not the worst, either.
California is a big state

Canât speak to financial services but the SF Bay Area is so expensive itâs impossible to have any quality of life. Traffic is terrible. And there is no way for a working professional to keep up with the tech money. Good weather though.
Any part of California youâre particularly interested in, OP?

The LA area.
OP - there are tons of financial services opportunities in LA and Irvine. Iâm not personally involved in financial services but I know of a number of people who are, and there are many related companies with a bug presence here. Is there a particular area within financial services that you want to pursue further?
Iâm in advisory, based in Socal, and worked with Financial Institution clients. However, none of my projects were ever in california, and I had to make weekly trips to the east coast.
