Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

What’s an Engagement Manager?
I have received an offer from PA Consulting , which I think will speed up my development by around 2 years, compared to staying where I am. (More diverse role, exposure, not just focused on one platform/product for which I currently am). In addition, the offer is also a large increase in package. I have only been at my current company for 6 months, however I would like to take the offer, how do I approach this?
Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Been at both MBB and B4. Life was easier at MBB because you have support on slide making/research from offshore teams. At B4 you have to do everything yourself.
It’s a volume game. Even an intern at McKinsey uses the offshore team. At B4, only certain projects can after approvals. This results in better training and optimising slide making staff offshore. That’s why McK content looks consistent from all across the world. That’s not the case at B4.
Have not been in MBB but have been in T2 and now at Big 4. Huge difference in terms of the number of admin/risk protocols you have to do on any engagement - takes on so much unnecessary time. I second the comment about having to do everything yourself - the calibre of the more junior roles was much stronger in T2 than Big 4 meaning you have to constantly revise materials and outputs.
