Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Worked in non profits for a while myself and I liked it until I started to pay attention to how little the execs valued the people working for them. Realized it's often just corporate greed but tied up in a pretty package of social justice or taking care of the poor or some other kind of altruism. But they don't even take care of their own. Kind of soured my taste on non profits
In my youth I worked for a nonprofit organization for two years and I really enjoyed it. But after a while I realized I couldn't really live on the money, and I didn't have family money to supplement my meager salary. I wish I could have kept doing that work, but survival comes first.
I'm currently in fintech and love it. It's intense and fast paced but the pay is solid and they don't micromanage me.
Honestly, I loved working in retail. And in food service. It was stressful, but I never felt like I had to take the stress home with me at the end of the day. Plus, I really enjoyed joking around with coworkers and laughing about customers. I miss those days!
This is my first post. I was an ER trauma nurse for 34 years and retired 12 years ago. Now I do whatever I want. I worked for a call center for 4 years for major banks fraud dept. Learned a whole new skill set. But but both jobs were great because I was serving the public.
